GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University softball program will be hosting two prospect camps this summer at J.C. Red Edmonds Field. The first will be June 17 and the second on July 15.
Check-in will begin at 9 a.m., with the event running from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Campus tours will be offered at the conclusion of the event.
All prospective players in eighth grade, high school, or junior college are invited to attend the camps.
TU head coach Julie Huebner and camp staff will teach advanced softball skills with the opportunity to showcase individual abilities. At the one-day camp, participants will complete drills, increase knowledge of the game of softball, scrimmage, and meet current players from the Tusculum softball team. The camp will consist of offensive/defensive drills and skill breakdown with advanced application. It will also include pitcher/catcher breakdown sessions.
Campers must bring their own lunch, tennis shoes, cleats, glove, bat, and catching gear (if applicable).
Camp is limited to the first 50 applicants. Forms and payment must be collected as soon as possible in order to reserve the participant's spot.
