WISE, Va. --- Due to inclement weather, Wednesday's softball doubleheader between Tusculum and Virginia-Wise has been postponed. The twin-bill has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 6th starting at 2 p.m. on the Wise, Virginia campus.
The Pioneers (14-12) open South Atlantic Conference play this Saturday when they travel to Hickory, North Carolina to face seventh-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne for a 2 p.m. doubleheader. The Bears (25-2) have won 19th consecutive games.
Tusculum is riding a three-game winning streak and swept the Bears two years ago in its last visit to Hickory.
