Neither team gained more than a three-score advantage until TU pulled ahead 10-6 on one of five kills by Dubinsky in the opener. Tusculum maintained the edge, but three-straight points for a LMC timeout at 18-11. Lees-McRae managed to get back within four on an ace but a service error and solo rejection by Wisniakowski earned TU the match lead.
