GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- For the third time this season, Tusculum University men's volleyball junior Deklan Wingo was named the Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (IVA) Offensive Player of the Week.
An outside hitter, Wingo notched 12 kills on a .346 average against 19th-ranked Lincoln Memorial last week. He fired on a four kill-per-set rate in the match.
On the season, Wingo is averaging 3.19 kills on a .222 clip with 1.10 digs and .40 blocks per set for Tusculum.
Tusculum (4-9, 1-1 IVA) hosts a two-match series with Maryville (Mo.) (13-3, 1-0 IVA) starting Friday (Mar. 1). First serve between the Pioneers and Saints is scheduled for 7 p.m.
