GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University men's volleyball junior Deklan Wingo was named the Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (IVA) Offensive Player of the Week, spanning from January 14-20.
An outside hitter, Wingo went off for 21 kills on a .405 hitting percentage in the five set match at King. The Chester, Virginia product also contributed an assist, six digs, and five (two solo, three assists) total blocks in the thrilling victory.
On the season, Wingo is averaging 2.64 kills, 1.18 digs, and .45 blocks per set for Tusculum.
The Pioneers (1-5) host nationally-ranked Charleston in Greeneville on Sunday (Jan. 28) with first serve scheduled for 2 p.m.
