TEMPE, Ariz. --- The Tusculum University men's tennis team remains 29th in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II team rankings through matches of April 7, the ITA has announced.
The Pioneers split two matches last week, beating Mars Hill 7-0 last Tuesday and falling 6-1 to South Atlantic Conference leader Wingate on Saturday.
Tusculum is joined in the national rankings by SAC members Wingate (16th), Catawba (33rd), Lenoir-Rhyne (34th), Carson-Newman (42nd) and Lincoln Memorial (44th). Non-conference opponents of the Pioneers who are ranked are Saint Leo (1st), North Georgia (9th) and Charleston (21st).
The Pioneers (14-5, 7-2 SAC) are tied for third place in the SAC standings with three matches left in the regular season.
