Played mostly in the top half of the line-up including 2-0 at the top flight, 4-1 at No. 2 singles and 6-4 at the third flight... Won his final three singles contests and went 8-2 in his last 10 outings... Went 5-2 in three-set singles matches... Was ranked as high as 70th in ITA Division II singles...
