GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Toby De Klerk claimed the decisive point in Tusculum College's 7-2 win over King University on Wednesday afternoon. Tusculum moves to 2-0 on the young season after winning its 2015-16 home opener at the Nichols Tennis Complex.

The Pioneers took a 2-1 lead over the Tornado (0-1) after doubles play. Jonas Winkelmann and Leon Seiz defeated Moritz Poswiat and Luis Delgado 8-4 in the top spot while De Klerk and David Siegle were 8-5 winners over Philipp Lindauer and Kyle Loque in the third flight. Lenny Keswani and Jannis Walter earned King's point at number two.

With Tusculum holding a 4-2 lead, De Klerk earned the match-clinching victory over Jannis Walter (6-1, 6-3) in the fifth singles spot. Leon Seiz claimed a three-set win over Luis Delgado (6-2, 3-6, 6-1) in the second flight while Tashique Kader rolled past Lenny Keswani (6-2, 6-2) at number three.

Fabian Paier edged Philipp Lindauer 7-5, 6-4 in the fourth spot while Eduardo Munoz was a 6-3, 6-1 winner over Pedro Gomes in the sixth position. Poswiat was the Tornado's lone singles winner in the top spot.

The Pioneers will wrap-up their 2015 fall campaign on Sunday when they play host to South Atlantic Conference rival Mars Hill in a non-conference matchup. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
