Tusculum College senior Steven Lin has been named the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week in men's tennis for the week ending February 26, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Lin (Ping Dong, Taiwan) went 3-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles as the Pioneers won two out of three matches last week. He lost just six games in three singles matches en route to wins over King (6-2, 6-1), North Greenville (6-2, 6-1) and Belmont Abbey (6-0, 6-0), and teamed with Paul Wiederspahn for doubles wins over North Greenville (8-1) and Belmont Abbey (8-3).

Overall, Lin has a 3-3 record in singles play this season and a 2-3 mark in doubles. For his career, the two-time second-team All-SAC selection is 42-20 in singles and 37-23 in doubles.

The Pioneers (3-4 overall) return to action Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. match at Francis Marion.
