MEN'S TENNIS WINS NINTH STRAIGHT WITH 6-0 WIN OVER NORTH GREENVILLE

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The No. 35 Tusculum men's tennis team won its ninth straight match with Saturday's 6-0 rain-shortened victory over visiting North Greenville at the Nichols Tennis Complex. With the win, the Pioneers improve to 14-1 on the year, while the Crusaders fall to 1-8.

Tusculum swept the three doubles matches, including an 8-0 pro set win by Sergio Espinosa and Carlos Garcia over the No. 1 duo of Tomas Kurhajec and Jacob Rogers.

TC clinched the match by getting singles wins at the top three flights by Nicolas Bigler, Espinosa and Garcia. The three remaining singles matches were halted due to rain.

Tusculum will be on the road Sunday when they take on Newberry in an South Atlantic Conference match.
