GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The No. 39 Tusculum College men's tennis team roared out to a 9-0 win over visiting King College Friday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
Tusculum (3-0) swept all three doubles matches, including an 8-0 pro set win by the No. 3 pairing of Nicolas Bigler and Julien Jacob over Tate Burroughs and Jaeho Huh of King (0-1).
Bigler also posted a 6-0, 6-1 straight set win at No. 3 singles against King's Juan Avila. TC also got singles points from Sergio Espinosa, Henrique Rodrigues, Carlos Garcia, Leo Guaycurus and Hunter Beal.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday when they host 14th-ranked Francis Marion University for an 11 a.m. match.
