Michael Steckmest has joined the Tusculum University men's soccer coaching staff for the 2024 season as a graduate assistant coach. Steckmest will work with the Tusculum goalkeepers after playing the past three seasons at Nova Southeastern University.
At Nova Southeastern, Steckmest appeared in six matches, making three starts, and compiled a 1-1-1 record with a 1.76 goals against average across 358 minutes, 6 seconds of playing time. Steckmest made a total of 16 saves in his career with the Sharks.
A native of Oslo, Norway, Steckmest was a member of the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. He graduated from NSU with a degree in business management.
