GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Andreas Kvam scored two goals in a 16-second span to lead the Tusculum College men's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over North Greenville University Tuesday night at Pioneer Field.

The Pioneers (8-6-2) also got a four-point effort from junior Pablo Laguna, who assisted on both of Kvam's goals and added to the final margin of victory with his second goal of the year.

Tusculum sophomore keeper Ashley Elsey recorded his second shutout of the season as he went the distance while posting a save.

NGU net-minder James Max Miller finished the night with nine saves, while facing 25 Tusculum shots.

Tusculum got on the scoreboard six minutes into the match when sophomore Jonathan Spicher knocked home his sixth goal of the season from 15 yards away to top left corner of the net. The goal was assisted by junior Cody Kammerzell.

TC would not add to its lead until the 71:38 mark when Kvam took a Laguna pass into the right side of the box and tapped the ball in just inside the right post. Kvam scored his fifth goal of the year, taking another Laguna dish and blasted a left-angled shot to the top right shelf of the goal for a 3-0 TC advantage.

Laguna got into the goal scoring column in the 83rd minute as that tally was assisted by freshman Renato Grgic.

Tusculum will close out the regular-season on Friday at 7:30 p.m. when the Pioneers host Newberry College in a critical South Atlantic Conference match. Both the Pioneers (4-4-2 SAC - 14 pts) and Newberry (3-5-2 SAC - 11 pts) are looking to secure berth into next week's SAC Tournament. TC is currently seventh in the league, while the Wolves are ninth. The top eight teams in the conference advance to the SAC Tournament. Tuesday was the season-finale for the Crusaders (0-15).

Friday is also Senior Night at Tusculum as six Pioneers will be playing in their final home matches on the Tusculum pitch including: Juan Avendano (Asturias, Spain), Matias Rubio (El Salvador), Roberto Pimentel (Campinas, Brazil), Adam Kulbat (Blaxland, NSW, Australia), Mason Fox (Crossville, Tenn.) and Mark Patterson (Belfast, Northern Ireland).
