ANDERSON, S.C. --- James Moseley's goal with 6:09 left in double overtime gave ninth-ranked Anderson University a 2-1 victory over Tusculum College in a battle of unbeatens in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer Saturday afternoon at Trojan Stadium.

Moseley converted from 15 yards out to lift the Trojans (11-2-0, 6-0-0 SAC) past the Pioneers (5-7-1, 4-1-0 SAC), whose five-game winning streak and six-match unbeaten streak came to an end.

The Trojans, who won their ninth consecutive match, finished with a 22-6 edge in shots over the Pioneers, including all five shots in the 14 minutes of extra time, but were kept off the scoreboard for over 92 minutes after taking an early 1-0 lead.

Scott Clapperton scored the first goal of the match for Anderson at 11:34, assisted by Mark Smith, but Tusculum came back exactly two minutes later as Javier Portillo tallied his third goal of the season off a pass from Pontus Rosen.

Anderson swarmed for the go-ahead goal in the final two minutes of regulation, but Tusculum keeper Andy Goellner made three of his six saves to preserve the deadlock and force overtime. Clapperton's goal was the first conceded by Goellner in six matches, a shutout streak spanning 504 minutes, 42 seconds.

Lukas Hesse finished with three saves for the Trojans, who have allowed just four goals during their nine-match winning streak.

The Pioneers will aim to return to the win column Tuesday afternoon with a 4 p.m. SAC match at Lincoln Memorial University.
