Tusculum College junior goalkeeper Andy Goellner ranks among the
NCAA Division II men's soccer statistical leaders in the initial
report of the 2011 season, released Tuesday.
Goellner, from Denver, Colo., ranks 24th in total saves with 20 and
is 40th in saves per game with an average of 5.0 through four
matches. Last season, Goellner ranked ninth in Division II in saves
per game, averaging 6.82 per contest.
The Pioneers are ranked 47th out of 180 teams in saves per game
with an identical average of 5.0 per game. That figure is tied for
fourth among the 10 programs in the South Atlantic Conference.
Tusculum will seek its first victory of the season in its fifth
match of the year Wednesday night against Limestone at 7 p.m. at
Pioneer Field.
