INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College's Andy Goellner is third in the nation in saves per match according to this week's NCAA Division II men's soccer statistics.
Goellner, a 6-0, 165-pound sophomore from Denver, Colo., is averaging 8.14 saves per match through his first seven starts in goal. The Denver South High School graduate is also 24th in the country in save percentage (.838 - through 7 matches), while the Pioneers have a team save percentage of .851, which is 19th in the country.
The Pioneers (1-4-3, 0-2 in South Atlantic Conference) return to the pitch this Saturday afternoon when they travel to Newberry College for a 4 p.m. contest.
