ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Defending champion Tusculum College is the fifth seed in this week's Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament and will take on fourth-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne University in Tuesday's quarterfinal round in Hickory, N.C. The contest is a rematch of Saturday's regular season finale in Hickory, which Lenoir-Rhyne won by a 5-0 score. Tuesday's start time has yet to be determined.

Tusculum (8-6-1) posted a 4-4 record against league opponents this fall, finishing the regular season ranked fifth in the conference standings after falling to 2009 SAC champion Carson-Newman College and Lenoir-Rhyne to close out the conference schedule. The winner of the Lenoir-Rhyne/Tusculum quarterfinal will take on the victor of the Carson-Newman/Catawba matchup in the semifinal round.

No. 22 Carson-Newman won the regular season title for the second straight season, posting a sterling 7-1 in-conference record to earn the top seed in this week's SAC Tournament. The top-seeded Eagles will host eighth-seeded Catawba College in Tuesday's quarterfinal round. No. 2 seeded Wingate University will host seventh-seeded Newberry College, while third-seeded Lincoln Memorial will host sixth-seeded Mars Hill.

Quarterfinal winners advance to the tournament semifinals, which will be held at Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex in Rock Hill, S.C. on Friday, November 6. The two men's semifinals will be played at 3 p.m.

The men's tournament championship will be Sunday, November 8 at 1 p.m. at Manchester Meadows Soccer Complex.

Admission to all Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament events is $5 for adults and $2 for college students and children.
