INDIANAPOLIS --- Sophomore Nick Rich is ranked among the national leaders in assists per match and the Tusculum College men's soccer team is listed in 10 individual and team categories in this week's edition of the NCAA Division II statistics, announced NCAA officials Tuesday.
Tusculum (7-3-1, 3-2 SAC) is listed 29th in scoring offense (2.36), 47th in winning percentage (0.682), 55th in team goals against average (1.13) and save percentage (0.79), and 84th in shutout percentage (0.27).
Rich enters the week ranked eighth in the nation in assists per match (0.64), followed closely by Anteneh Lemma (0.55) and Andres Jarquin (0.55) in a tie for 21st and Scott Lucky (0.5) in 30th. Lemma is also ranked 52nd in points per match (1.64) and 81st in goals per match (0.55), while Marc Joseph is listed 61st in goals per contest (0.64). Senior goalkeeper Lance Moore is also ranked 59th in save percentage (0.78) and 61st in goals against average (1.12).
Tusculum returns to the pitch on Wednesday when the Pioneers host Catawba College at Pioneer Field to resume their South Atlantic Conference schedule. The match is slated for 7 p.m.
