HICKORY, N.C. --- Vivian Lacy recorded a double-double with 19 kills and 11 digs to lead the Tusculum volleyball team to a 3-1 win over host Lenoir-Rhyne Friday night at Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. The Pioneers (23-9, 11-3 in South Atlantic Conference) won the match by scores of 30-17, 30-24, 25-30, 30-23.

Tusculum will be at Brevard College Saturday afternoon for a 3 p.m. non-conference match against the Tornados.

TC setter Mariana Rezende also accounted for a double-double with her 58 assists and 12 digs. She also finished with two service aces in the victory. Freshman Katie Luebke tallied 18 kills and a .396 hitting percentage, while Kelsey Hayden finished with 13 kills and four blocks (2 solo, 2 assists). Alexis Rowles once again led TC's defensive efforts with a team-high 15 digs.

Caroline Albertelli recorded 14 kills for the Bears (17-15, 5-8 SAC), while Katie Novacek added 10 kills. Lauren McLelland tallied 41 assists, while Catherine Fulton added 18 digs.
