LENOIR CITY, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University men's golf team posted a three-day aggregate score of 908 to finish tied for 15^th place at the 2025 Tennessee River Rumble. The two-day, 54-hole tournament was held at the par-72, 7,099-yard WindRiver Golf Club and hosted by Lincoln Memorial University.

This year's 20-team field featured eight nationally-ranked programs including fourth-ranked LMU who edged No. 2 North Georgia by one shot. The Railsplitters finished with a three-round score of 870, followed by runner-up North Georgia (871), No. 24 Lenoir-Rhyne (878), No. 6 Grand Valley State (879) and No. 12 Wingate (880) to comprise the top-five.

Lander, the 19^th-ranked team in NCAA Division II, finished sixth with 881, followed by Anderson (882), Barton (884), LMU B (889), Erskine (889), King (895), West Texas A&M (901), Union, Tenn. (903) and Belmont Abbey (904).

Tusculum, Coker and Carson-Newman all shot 908 and finished in a three-way tie for 15^th. Limestone was 18^th with 915, followed by Indianapolis (916) and Newberry (925).

LMU's George Durkan claimed medalist honors with 71-72-68=211 (-5), one stroke better than runner-up Holt Allison of Lenoir-Rhyne who carded 70-69-73=212 (-4).

Tusculum senior Liam van Deventer finished the tournament with 73-72-75=220 to tie for 19^th place. Blake Williams tied for 50^th with 73-77-76=226, Liam Hermansson came in 63^rd with 76-76-77=229, Hunter Hartman placed 87^th with 77-75-85=237 and Marinus Jeebe rounded out the scoring with 75-80-83=238 (T89).

The Pioneers return to action Apr. 13-15 when they compete at the South Atlantic Conference Championship in Greenville, South Carolina at The Preserve at Verdae.
