
COHUTTA, Ga. --- The Tusculum University men's golf B team shot a two-day score of 602 to win the 2024 Alice Lloyd Eagle Invitational. The Pioneers fired a final round 300 and won by three shots over runner-up Point University.
Tusculum placed three players on the All-Tournament Team including tournament runner-up Harrison Price who carded a final round 71 to finish with an even-par score of 144. Price finished one shot behind tournament medalist AJ Bolin of Spartanburg Methodist.
Tusculum's Lawson Harkey finished in sole possession of fourth place with 75-72=147, while Dylan Side shot 73-77=150 and finished in a four-way tie for fifth place honors to earn All-Tournament distinction.
Liam Colohan tied for 24th with his total of 79-82=161, followed by Hayden Shrewsbury's 82-83=165 (T31). Josiah Morris (82-84=166) and Ryland Chaney (85-86=171) finished 37th and 46th, respectively playing as individual competitors.
Bob Jones University and Spartanburg Methodist each finished with 616 to tie for third place. Covenant was fifth with 621, followed by Truett McConnell B (624), Bob Jones B (647), Spartanburg Methodist B (661), Covenant B (667), Toccoa Falls (685), Alice Lloyd (694) and Bryan B (715).
The 12-team, 36-hole tournament was conducted at the par-72, 6,608-yard Nob North Golf Club.
