LENOIR CITY, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University men's golf team posted a 36-hole total 596 and is in 14^th place at the 2024 Tennessee River Rumble. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being hosted by Lincoln Memorial and held at the par-72, 7,065-yard Wind River Golf Course.

The Pioneers opened the day with 303, but shaved 10 shots of their first round score and finished with 293.

This year's talented 20-team field includes seven nationally ranked programs including four in this week's top-10. Top-ranked North Georgia is living up to its billing as the Nighthawks lead with 562. Host LMU, the No. 2 team in the country, is second with 565. USC Aiken, the No. 7 team in NCAA II, is third with 567 followed by Union University (572) while No. 23 Coker and Wingate are tied for fifth place at 580.

Anderson is seventh with 582, followed by No. 16 Barton (585), Lenoir-Rhyne (587), LMU B (591), Carson-Newman (592), No. 10 Lander (592), No. 4 Grand Valley State (593), Tusculum (596), King (599), Belmont Abbey (600), Limestone (602), Erskine (604), Newberry (604) and North Greenville (613).

Lenoir-Rhyne's Holt Allison has the first day lead as he posted a six-under par total 67-71=138 and leads by two shots over LMU's George Durkan (68-70=138) and North Georgia's Jack Vajda (67-72=138).

Tusculum's Blake Williams is tied for 35^th place with his 147 total which includes a one-under par 71 in his second round. Dominic Barron Holden is 45^th with 75-73=148, while Liam van Deventer is 54^th with 75-75=150. TU's Morgan Cain (77-77=154) and Cole Haygood (80-74=154) are tied for 76^th place.

The final round will be held on Tuesday.
