NORMAN, Okla. --- The Tusculum University men's golf team is receiving votes in this week's Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Men's Coaches' Poll.
The Pioneers received 18 total points and are one of seven South Atlantic Conference teams listed in this week's rankings.
Tusculum is coming off a first place finish at the King University Invitational. TU rallied from a five-shot deficit and posted a two-day score of 564 and win by 10 strokes. The Pioneers were led by Thomas Kollberg as he fired a career-low 69-67=136 to capture medalist honors.
SAC teams mentioned in this week's poll includes No. 7 Anderson, No. 9 Lincoln Memorial, No. 10 Limestone and No. 14 Carson-Newman. Along with Tusculum receiving votes, Newberry and Lenoir-Rhyne are also listed on the poll.
Barry is the top-ranked team in the country as the Buccaneers received 413 points including two first place votes. Lee is second with 396 points and six first place votes. West Florida is third, followed by North Georgia, Georgia Southwestern, Oklahoma Christian, Anderson, Nova Southeastern Lincoln Memorial and Limestone comprise the top-10.
Tusculum returns to action this Monday and Tuesday as they compete at the Richard Rendleman Invitational in Salisbury, North Carolina.
