MONROE, N.C. --- The Tusculum University men's golf B team posted a 36-hole total of 628 after day one of the 2021 J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Invitational at Stonebridge Golf Club.
The Pioneers carded a team score of 316 in Monday's first 18 holes and followed with 312 in the second round. The third round will be played on Tuesday on the par-72, 6,897-yard layout.
Erskine has the lead with 585 and is three shots in front of second place Queens at 588. Coker and host Wingate are tied for third place with 591. Lenoir-Rhyne is fifth with 592, followed by Flagler (594), Northeastern State (598), Ohio Dominican (604), Belmont Abbey B (614), Queens B (617), Wingate B (624), Tusculum B (628), Erskine B (638), Belmont Abbey C (648) and UVA Wise (683).
John Bennett is the top Tusculum player with his 76-75=151 and is tied for 26th place. Liam Sweeney is tied for 35th place with 77-75=152, Mark Healy is 59th with 80-82=162, Bennett Noe is 64th with 83-80=163 and Derek Mubarek rounds out the scoring with 93-86=179 (77th).
