Carroll's even par total of 144 was six shots off the pace set by tournament medalist Will Wilcox of Clayton State, who fired a 66 on the second day to claim the individual title.
Columbus State (585) captured the tournament title with a second day total of 293 to beat out Clayton State (589) by four strokes. Lander (590) finished third, followed by Armstrong Atlantic (592), Newberry (607), Lincoln Memorial (609), North Greenville (618), Cape Fear CC (618), Southeast Oklahoma State (620), Catawba (622), Georgia Southwestern (625), Tusculum, Southern Wesleyan (643), Wingate (644), Lenoir-Rhyne (644), and Faulkner (664).
Tusculum's Darren Christie and Lawson George tied for 37th at 157, while Matt McIntyre and Jake Scheffers tied for 69th at 169.
The Pioneers return to the course Mar. 2-3 at the Richard Rendleman Invitational, hosted by Catawba College.
