INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum University men's bowling team finished in 61st place after the day two action of the 2023 Hoosier Classic which was held at the Western Bowl.
The Pioneers recorded a total pinfall of 8,128 in the 15 Baker style games over three sets of lanes.
In the first set, the Pioneers match up with Aquinas and bowled an 850 (169-159-174-165-183). The second set saw the Black and Orange roll against Bowling Green State as TU shot 824 (128-153-190-190-163). The final set of the day as Tusculum cross paths with Lindenwood as the Pioneers ended the day with 799 (167-147-166-142-177).
Tennessee Southern, who entered bracket play as the No. 4 seed, would knock off Wichita State in the finals to claim the Hoosier Classic title.
The Pioneers return to action March 24-26 as Tusculum competes at the Conference Carolinas-Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship in Gastonia, North Carolina.
