BEAVERCREEK, Ohio --- The Tusculum University men's bowling team finished 13th at the 2022 Roto Grip Raider Classic.
The Pioneers recorded a tournament tally of 7,764 total pins in the 26-team field. TU bowled a 16-Baker Game total of 3,052 on Sunday to fall one position shy advancing to the championship round with the University of Pikeville coming out as champion.
Tusculum sophomore Tucker Strack led Tusculum with his five-game traditional total of 982 which placed him 45th individually. He averaged 196 pins per game as he opened with 212 and followed with games of 191, 190, 198 and 189.
Aeron Burkhardt finished 64th with a five-game total of 947 including a 213 in his opening game and finished strong with a 203.
Tyler Moore placed 72nd with 934, Randall Andrews was 81st with 917, followed by Gabe Taulbee with his four-game total of 714 to finish 150th. Mason Morgan rounded out the scoring with a 218 in his only game of the session to finish 212th.
The Pioneers will wrap up their fall season next weekend as they compete at the Brandon Burns Memorial in Smyrna, Tennessee.
