INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum University men's bowling team finished in 20th place at the 2022 Columbia 300 Western Shootout which is being held at the Western Bowl.
The Pioneers totaled 5,315 total pins in the 30-team tournament field. Calumet-St. Joseph charged out to the first day lead, finishing with 6,112 pins, which included four games over 1,000 pins.
Tusculum, which opened the day with team games of 872, 873, 801, finished strong with totals of 893, 954 and 922.
TU's Tyler Moore finished 21st individually with 1,207 pins in his six traditionally-scored games. He opened with games of 192, 174 and 171, before ending on a high note with 201, 253 and 216 as he averaged 201.2 on the day.
The Pioneers will wrap up their stay in Indianapolis on Sunday.
