GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University men's basketball team will host Tennessee Wesleyan University for an exhibition game this Monday morning at 11 a.m. from Pioneer Arena.
It will be Tusculum's "Education Game" as the Pioneers have invited area elementary school children to be their guests for Monday's exhibition contest with the Bulldogs. Area schools scheduled to attend including: Doak Elementary, Greeneville Middle, Hal Henard, Highland, South Greene Middle, Towering Oaks and West Greene Middle.
There will be face painting and activities prior to tip-off. There will also be in-game and halftime contests for the kids.
Fans are asked to allow for extra time for travel to the game as parking may be limited.
Head coach J.T. Burton, who is entering his fifth season at the helm of the TU program, returns 10 lettermen and three starters from last year's 19-8 team which finished third in the SAC standings for a second straight year and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the league tournament.
