GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Anthony Stabler recorded 25 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots to lead the Queens University of Charlotte to a 75-59 non-conference win over host Tusculum College Monday night at Pioneer Arena.

The Royals (4-3) forced 13 turnovers, while converting those TC miscues into 16 points as the Pioneers (1-6) suffer their fifth straight loss. The contest marks the final regular-season non-league meeting between TC and Queens as the Royals will be joining the South Atlantic Conference in the 2013-14 academic year.

Stabler shot 11-of-17 from the field, while Joby Glumph accounted for 17 points off the bench, including three 3-pointers. Brandon Nichols added 14 marker and six rebounds, while Brent Evans posted a dozen points to go along with his eight rebounds.

Addison Flynn matched his season-best with 17 points, including 11 in the second half. Flynn shot 5-of-9 from the field, including a pair of three-pointers, while shooting 5-of-6 from the free throw line. Keith Jumper posted 14 points from the bench, while Darius Carter finished with 12 points and a team-high six rebounds.

Queens never trailed in the contest as the utilized an early 8-0 run to take a 15-7 lead, capped off by a Stabler three-point play at the 14:33 mark of the first half. Tusculum trimmed the deficit to six points following a pair of free throws by Jumper with 12:27 left before halftime.

Glymph gave the Royals a 27-16 lead following his three-pointer at the 10:35 mark of the period and would retain a double-digit lead through the remainder of the evening, including a 43-28 advantage at the intermission.

Queens shot 48.6 percent in the first half, while limiting Tusculum to shooting 9-of-24 (37.5%) and 9-of-17 from the free throw line (52.9%).

Tusculum would narrow the gap to 11 points (51-40) thanks to a Devin Call layup with 12:49 remaining in the game. But that would be as close as Tusculum would get as the Royals increased its lead to 65-45 on an Evans' rebound and put-back with 7:13 left in the game.

Queens finished the game shooting 45.2 percent, while the Pioneers upped its shooting percentage to 40.8%, including 11-of-25 (44%) in the second half. The Royals won the rebound battle by a 38-32 margin, including 13-9 on the offensive glass.

Daniel O'Conner added six points, three rebounds and three blocked shots for the Pioneers, while Anton Tuz contributed four points and four rebounds in his second straight start.

Tusculum returns to action this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. when the Pioneers host Georgia Southwestern in a rematch from earlier this season. The Hurricanes handed Tusculum a 75-60 loss on Nov. 25 in Americus, Ga. It will also be TC's final contest before the holidays.
