TUSCULUM LISTED IN NCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College's Kyle Moore is listed 15th in the nation in three-point field goals made according to this week's NCAA Division II men's basketball statistics announced College officials Tuesday.

Moore, a 6-3 sophomore guard from Gainesville, Fla., is averaging 3.2 three-pointers per contest, which is also the best trey tally in the South Atlantic Conference. Moore is also ranked 19th in free throw percentage (86.7%) and 30th in three-point percentage (42.6%). Moore has made his last 16 straight free throws.

Junior guard Ryan Troutman (Mt. Washington, Ky.) is mentioned in two statistical categories. Troutman is averaging five assists per game, which are first in the SAC and 37th-best in the nation. He is also tops in the league with his 2.02 assist/turnover ratio (45 in NCAA II).

The Pioneers are listed in three team categories including 37th in three-point field goals made (8.3), 40th in assists per game (16.4 apg) and 47th in assist/turnover ratio (1.11).

Tusculum (12-14, 5-8 SAC) closes out its regular season schedule on Wednesday when the Pioneers face cross-mountain rival Mars Hill for an 8 p.m. at MHC's Stanford Arena. TC is currently in fifth place in the league. A Tusculum win on Wednesday, coupled with a Catawba loss to Carson-Newman, would propel the Pioneers into fourth place in the league standings.

Tusculum is riding a three-game winning streak and has won four of its last five games.
