Tusculum Football Gameday: What You Need to Know!!!

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University will host Carson-Newman University this Saturday afternoon at the Niswonger Sports Complex and Pioneer Field. Kick-off is at 1 p.m. (ET) with gates opening at 11:30 a.m. (ET).

Lots of events going on with this week's 53rd meeting of the second oldest collegiate football rivalry in the State of Tennessee. This weekend is Tusculum's Homecoming Game which was originally scheduled for Oct. 11-13, but was moved due to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Lots of alumni events on tap including Saturday's Homecoming Parade which begins at 11 a.m., tailgates, the Homecoming Court and of course the football game against our long-time rivals from Jefferson City.

Saturday is Senior Day as Tusculum will honor 26 student-athletes who will be playing in their final home games at Tusculum. Pre-game ceremonies will take place at 12:30 p.m. Families of the football seniors are asked to meet on the field in the west endzone at 12:15 p.m.

Saturday is also our Military Appreciation Game. All U.S. veterans and those who are currently serving in the U.S. Military will be admitted FREE with a valid Military ID.

 

WHAT'S HAPPENING AND WHEN?
9:00 AM - Tailgate Areas and Parking Lots OPEN
11:00 AM - Pioneer Club Tailgate begins at NEW LOCATION at the corner of Shiloh Road and Pioneer Way.
11:00 AM - PIONEER WALK (route from the Niswonger Student Commons, down Pioneer Way and turn at service road between Pioneer Field and Nichols Tennis Complex)
11:00 AM - Homecoming Parade
11:30 AM - Stadium Gates Open
12:30 PM - Senior Day Ceremonies
1:00 PM - Kickoff (Tusculum vs Carson-Newman)

 

PIONEER WALK - Come out and welcome the Tusculum football team at 11 a.m. as they make their way from the Niswonger Student Commons, down Pioneer Way, cross Shiloh Road and turn right onto service road between Pioneer Field and the Nichols Tennis Complex.

PLEASE NOTE: The Pioneer Walk will coincide with the Homecoming Parade which will follow the same route. Please adjust travels plans as Pioneer Way and the section of Shiloh Road which intersects will be closed during the parade.

TICKETS: Fans may purchase tickets on-line through HomeTown Ticketing on the Tusculum Athletic web site at: www.TusculumPioneers.com/Tickets.

All ticket purchases (on-line and in-person) are CREDIT CARD ONLY. Cash WILL NOT be accepted at the gate. Gates open this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Admission for Tusculum home football games is $15 for all entrants. Admission is $10 for adults 65 and older and for children ages 6-12. Children 5 and under will be admitted free.

Tusculum students will be admitted free and valid Tusculum ID is required.

Spectators using HomeTown Ticketing can choose to print tickets at home or use mobile entry tickets at the gate.

PARKING: Parking for Tusculum football games is FREE and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tusculum fans are asked to utilize the main stadium parking lot behind Pioneer Field and Pioneer Park as well as other available parking lots on campus. (TUSCULUM FAN PARKING MAP)

VISITING FANS are asked to utilize the South parking lot by the Indoor Practice Facility. Visiting fans will have easier access to the South Entrance and the visiting grandstand area. (VISITING FAN PARKING MAP)

Fans are asked to utilize the clearly marked spots in the parking lot. Parking is not permitted at curbside or in grass areas.

WILL CALL: Will Call opens at 11:30 AM and is located at the main entrance of Pioneer Field behind the press box. Will Call is where you pick up football student-athlete complimentary passes as well as media and staff credentials.

CLEAR BAG POLICY: Tusculum University requests all fans and spectators to carry their belongings in clear bags as an added safety precaution for all football home games. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own clear bags.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: Umbrellas are not allowed to be used inside the stadium. Artificial noise makers such as whistles and air horns are NOT PERMITTED.

PET POLICY: No pets are allowed at Tusculum University Athletic events and this includes Pioneer football games. Please leave your pets at home. Only medically approved service animals are allowed.

TUSCULUM CAMPUS STORE: Pick up your Tusculum apparel and gear at the Campus Store, located in the Niswonger Student Commons and will be open Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Campus Store at Pioneer Field will be open from 11:30 a.m. and will remain open until after halftime.
