HICKORY, N.C. --- Due to continued power outages in the Hickory, North Carolina area, Sunday's South Atlantic Conference football game between Tusculum University and Lenoir-Rhyne University has been moved to Salisbury, North Carolina and will be played at Shuford Stadium on the campus of Catawba College. The game will kick-off at 3 p.m. (ET) on Sunday.

Shuford Stadium is located at: 2295 Yost Street, Salisbury, NC, 28144.

The game was originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Moretz Stadium on the LR campus, but power has been out since Hurricane Helene passed through the region on Friday. The decision to postpone and move the game was made in the best interest of the safety of the student-athletes, coaches, staff, and to allow clean-up operations to continue in Hickory.

Lenoir-Rhyne officials indicated the those attending the game will have game day services including concessions, restrooms, etc. If fans have pre-purchased tickets already, those will be honored at the gate. If not, on-line ticketing for this game has been shut down and will not work. Gates will open at 2 p.m. and parking is free. Please keep in mind, Catawba has other sporting events taking place during the day so some parking lots may be restricted.

Lenoir-Rhyne will be providing a video stream of the game on FloSports, the official streaming provider of the South Atlantic Conference.

The Tusculum radio call of the game can be heard on the Pioneer Sports Network on WSMG (95.5 FM & 1450 AM) beginning at 2 p.m. The PSN call is also available on-line at www.TusculumPioneers.com.
