ROCK HILL, S.C. --- Tusculum College quarterback Kyle Dickey has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Offensive Football Player of the Week announced league officials Monday.

Dickey, a 6-3, 195-pound senior from McDonough, Georgia, threw for a career-best 311 yards and four touchdowns, including two scoring tosses in the final minutes of the game in Tusculum's 38-35 come-from-behind win at Mars Hill University.

With Tusculum trailing 35-23 with 3:29 remaining in the game, Dickey orchestrated a pair of scoring drives. The first came on a 28-yard touchdown pass to Johnathan Diliberto with 2:08 on the scoreboard to trim the deficit to 35-30.

Dickey completed the game-winning 21-yard touchdown pass to Deon Hicks with 33.5 seconds remaining in the game for the Pioneers first lead of the afternoon. He also added a two-point conversion completion to Diliberto to provide the final victory margin.

On his second pass attempt of the day, Dickey completed an 87-yard touchdown strike to Diliberto for the Pioneers first score of the afternoon. The 87-yarder is the third longest completion in program history.

The win capped off a strong finish to the season for the Pioneers, who rebounded from a 1-4 start to win five of its last six including a four-game winning streak to end the year. The victory clinched a winning season and sole possession of third place in the final league standings.

Dickey completed 60 percent of his passes on Saturday (15-for-25) as he led Tusculum to its fourth straight come-from-behind win.
