GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Members of the Tusculum College football team participated in a community service project with the Highland Elementary School's "Highland Happenings."
Tusculum student-athletes participated with pre-kindergarten students with a various activities including games, kite flying. Tusculum players also spoke to the children about the importance of education and being good kids.
The Tusculum football team is active in numerous community service projects in the area, including the Adopt-a-Highway program, Boys and Girls Club Football Clinic, "Read Across America" and the Lunch Buddies program at Doak Elementary School.
Tusculum student-athletes are active in the Greeneville and Greene County community, performing over 1,800 hours of community service last fall, ranging from free sports clinics and fundraising projects for Breast Cancer Awareness, Children's Cancer, Adopt-a-Family programs and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
