GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University Spirit Squad is hosting a middle school cheer clinic on Saturday, January 29. The event, located in the TU auxiliary gym, will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. It is open to all males and females that are currently enrolled in middle school.
Participants will be taught a routine consisting of dancing and cheering that will be performed during halftime of the Tusculum women's basketball game, which begins at 2 p.m.
At the clinic, attendees will have the opportunity to show off their skills and work with Tusculum University spirit program student-athletes.
The clinic will be open to participants only.
Participants are asked to bring the following: a $20 fee with checks made out to Tusculum University Spirit Squad, a signed waiver, and insurance card or a front and back copy. They will need to wear a white shirt, black shorts, and cheer shoes to the clinic and performance.
