Caleb Narron was named to the Tusculum University baseball coaching staff in the Summer of 2021. He assists with all aspects of the program while also serving as the Pioneers' recruiting coordinator.
Narron, a native of Cherryville, North Carolina, joined the TU staff after serving as assistant baseball coach at York Comprehensive High School. While at the York, South Carolina school, he served on the math faculty and assisted with all facets of the York baseball program. During his tenure there, he also coached with the Diamond Prospects Fall Baseball Team.
He served as a graduate assistant with the East Carolina University baseball program from 2018-2020. While at the Greenville, North Carolina school, the Pirates posted an impressive 47-18 record in 2019 while capturing the American Athletic Conference regular season title. That team earned a No. 10 national seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament and won the Greenville Regional rebounding from an opening round loss and bounced back with four straight wins including a 9-2 victory over No. 18 N.C. State. ECU would later advance to the Louisville Super Regional where they were eliminated by the seventh-ranked Cardinals.
Narron also has extensive summer coaching experience where he served as an assistant with the American Legion Post 100 in Cherryville from 2017-2019. His team won the Area 4 title and finished third in the state in 2019.
He played his collegiate baseball at NCAA Division III North Carolina Wesleyan College from 2015-2018 where he was a four-year letterman. He was an Academic All-Conference selection with the Battling Bishops. He played in 129 games where he accounted for 93 hits including 19 doubles, four triples and three home runs. He finished with 55 RBI and 55 runs scored. He was named to the 2017 USA South All-Tournament Team as he went 4-of-11 with a pair of RBI. as the Bishops finished the season 24-16 including 11-7 in league play.
Narron earned his Bachelor of Science degree from N.C. Wesleyan in 2018 and later his Masters of Instructional Technology from East Carolina in 2020.
He is married to the former Janelle Fernandez of Bernville, Pennsylvania and she serves as the human resources business partner at Tusculum University.
