GREENEVILLE, Tenn. ---
The Tusculum College baseball team will be hosting "Pack the Park"
Day, this Saturday (April 9) when the Pioneers host Mars Hill
College for a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader beginning at 3
p.m. at the Niswonger Sports Complex and Pioneer Park.
There will be three musical band performances before, between and
after each game on the Pioneer Park concourse. "Sound Proof 101"
will perform starting at 2 p.m. during pre-game warm-ups. "Peacoat
Gypsies" will perform between games, while "Planet Hofmann" will be
the featured group at the conclusion of the second contest.
Following the performance by "Planet Hofmann", there will be a
fireworks show, sponsored by Watauga Orthopaedics.
Tickets for "Pack the Park" are $8 each and are on sale at the
Tusculum Athletic Department and the Pioneer Park Baseball Office.
Tickets may also be purchased the day of the game. Tusculum
students will be admitted free with a valid Tusculum ID. Children
12 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult.
There will also be a Pioneer Club Tailgate Party at the stadium for
all Pioneer Club members beginning at 2 p.m.
April 9th will also be Senior Day at Pioneer Park as the Tusculum
baseball seniors will be honored in pre-game ceremonies.
