Tusculum women's beach volleyball's all-time wins leader Charlyn Miller joined the program's staff in the fall of 2024.

A three-year captain, Miller was a starter throughout her career, claiming most valuable player honors twice. She finished with a career record of 74-33, including a 35-13 mark at the 4's, and a .692 winning percentage, good for second all-time. Her senior season was a personal-best, going 25-8 and 20-6 in the fourth flight with Katie McLamb. As a sophomore, Miller tallied a 24-9 record, with a stellar 13-1 run at No. 2. Her 44 wins partnered with Katie McLamb are the program-high for a duo.

Before TU, Miller played for WAVE, San Diego Beach Volleyball Club, and Viper Volleyball Club in the Southern California area. She was coached by USA Olympic leader Guilherme Fiapo Tenius and AVP player Matt Olson.

Miller spent time as a men's and women's coach for the Grand Strand Sand Beach Volleyball Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She also coached at the Viper Volleyball Club in Temecula, California, leading both beach and indoor women's teams. Miller has also given private lessons in Knoxville.

A native of Murrieta, California, Miller graduated from Tusculum with a degree in history and a pre-law minor. She was a three-year honoree of the Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and a member of the university's Student Government Association. Miller also earned back-to-back College Sports Communicators Academic All-District laurels to finish her career.
