TAVARES, Fla. --- The Tusculum University women's beach volleyball team capped off its first trip to the AVCA Small College Championships by going 2-0 on the final day to win the Bronze Playoff Bracket.
Tusculum closed out its Florida stay with 4-1 wins over Eckerd College in the semifinal and a 4-1 victory over Carson-Newman University in the Bronze Playoffs final.
The Pioneers went 3-4 on the weekend including Saturday mornings 5-0 shutout over Principia College to wrap up TU's inaugural beach volleyball campaign with a 10-15 overall record.
