Jenna Biggins was named assistant athletic director for compliance and student-athlete development at Tusculum University on July 2019.

Biggins is responsible for assisting with the University’s 23 intercollegiate sports to ensure all compliance regulations are met and followed as well as the creation of career development initiatives, programs and services for Tusculum’s student-athletes.  She serves as the departmental liaison to the campus Office of Student Affairs as well as the Office of Career Services.

She serves as the advisor of the Pioneer Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (PSAAC), a role she has served in for two years as the athletic department’s graduate assistant from 2017-2019.  In that position Biggins assisted with the day-to-day operations of the department, including compliance, game day management, business administration, communications, marketing and promotions.

Under her guidance, PSAAC established a new school record by raising $5,200 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during the 2017-2018 academic year, which was second in the South Atlantic Conference and 22nd nationally in NCAA Division II.  In 2018-2019, the group raised $ 4,700 for Make-A-Wish.

The Alpharetta, Georgia native lettered four seasons on the Tusculum softball team from 2014-2017 where she played in 127 games while posting a career .249 batting average which included 71 hits, 17 doubles, one triple and eight home runs.  She finished with 44 career RBI and scored 28 runs.  In 2016, she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 first team.  She was a member of the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, Tusculum Athletic Director's Honor Roll, Charles Oliver Gray Honors List and the Dean's List.        

During her undergraduate years at Tusculum, the former Jenna Restivo also served as the softball team's PSAAC representative and also worked with TU's softball clinics.

She has also served as the head softball coach at Greeneville High School since 2018 where she has guided the Lady Devils to a 61-24 record including 29-9 in 2019 as GHS repeated as District Champions. In 2018, she led the Greene Devils to a 22-15 record with four of her players signing national letters of intent to play at the collegiate level.

In summer 2018, she also worked as an account executive with the Greeneville Reds, the Appalachian League (Rookie) affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. With the Reds, she managed all day-to-day ticket sales, group sales and the ticket office operation.  She also assisted with game day staff personnel and on-line team store sales.

Her work in professional baseball also included a public relations internship with the Gwinnett Stripers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Tusculum in 2017 while majoring in sport management.  She earned her master's degree in business administration at Tusculum in 2018.

She and her husband Christopher Biggins, reside in Michigan.
