Dominic Puhalj was named to the Tusculum University athletic staff in August 2025 where he serves as a graduate assistant in athletic administration. He works with Tusculum's Gameday Operations and Athletic Facilities staff. He assists with all aspects of the department, focusing on ticketing, facility management, hospitality and administration.

The Battle Creek, Mich. native comes to Tusculum from the University of Mount Olive where he was a member of the Trojans' lacrosse team.

In the spring of 2025, he served as an intern in the Mount Olive athletic department where he assisted in gameday operations, logistics and event coordination. He also worked with UMO's communications office and provided play-by-play commentary for women's lacrosse. He also developed social media strategies working with UMO's lacrosse programs.

In the summer of 2024, he was an athletic administration intern at Kellogg Community College in Michigan. He also gained professional experience with the Battle Creek Battle Jacks baseball team and True Kalamazoo Lacrosse.

On the playing field, he lettered four seasons in lacrosse where he played in 39 games including 27 starts on defense. He accounted for 26 ground balls and caused 16 turnovers and was a member of the Trojans to the 2024 Conference Carolinas Championship. He was also a four-time selection to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic Team.

He is currently a member of Croatia's National Men's Lacrosse Team.

Puhalj graduated from Mount Olive in 2025 where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree while majoring in sport management with a minor in marketing. He finished with cum laude distinction.
