Kaitlyn Diddle joined the Tusculum University staff in July 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer. She is the primary athletic training contact for the TU baseball program as well as the women's tennis teams. She also serves as a secondary contact with football.
The Johnson City, Tennessee native came to Tusculum after spending six years as an athletic trainer with Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics (2016-2022).
She also served as head athletic trainer at the Christian Academy of Knoxville from 2018-2022. She ran the daily operations of the CAK athletic training program including injury prevention, rehabilitation and budgeting. She provided preventative care, examination, diagnosis and treatment of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions for all high school and middle school student-athletes.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Union University (Tenn.) in 2016. She completed her Masters of Healthcare Administration in 2017 from Austin Peay State University.
Diddle is a certified and licensed athletic trainer, holds certification in CPR and AED and is a registered orthopedic technician.
She lives in Johnson City with her five huskies: Ghost, Ryder, Hondo, Blaze and Lil Man.
