Benjamin Kaiserman was named the Director of Sports Performance at Tusculum University in July 2022.

He oversees the development, implementation, and oversight of the comprehensive sports performance program for Tusculum's 23 intercollegiate sports. He and his staff help student-athletes with the designing and implementing strength, agility, speed, flexibility, and conditioning programs.

The Los Angeles, Calif. native was a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Tusculum during the 2021-22 academic year. He programmed workouts for student-athletes in football, baseball, men's lacrosse, men's soccer, softball, and men's and women's golf and was a leader in on-field pregame warmup for the football team.

Kaiserman returns to Tusculum after completing an internship in the strength and conditioning department with the University of Tennessee this summer. Kaiserman assisted with team workouts for women's basketball, women's volleyball, rowing, and swimming & diving. He also led small group sessions for the softball team.

Prior to his arrival at Tusculum, Kaiserman was an assistant athletic performance coach at UCLA during the summer of 2021; and a strength and conditioning intern at Sacramento State during the spring of 2021 and at Yale during the fall of 2020. At UCLA, Kaiserman assisted in the design and implementation of workouts and opened and locked the weight room daily. At Sacramento State, Kaiserman was the primary lifting coach for baseball make-up lifts and football auxiliary lifts. He also assisted in training of softball and tennis student-athletes.

Kaiserman graduated from McGill University in Montreal in the spring of 2020 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a minor in economics. He was a member of the baseball team at McGill, which won four Canadian University National Invitational titles during his playing career.

Kaiserman holds the following certifications: CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Sports Science Certification from Teambuildr, and CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.
