GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University golfer Harrison Price and volleyball setter Madison Adkins have been named the Zaxby's Athletes of the Week.
Price, a freshman from Winchester, England, finished third at last week's Alice Lloyd Eagle Invitational to earn All-Tournament accolades. He carded an even-par total 144 including a final round 71 to lead the Tusculum B Team to the team title.
Adkins, a senior from Olive Hill, Kentucky, recorded a pair of double-doubles to lead Tusculum to two South Atlantic Conference wins over Catawba and UVA Wise. She tallied 41 assists and a dozen digs in a five-set win at Catawba. She followed with 39 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 home victory over UVA Wise. She also tallied a service ace and four blocks.
The Tusculum University Athlete of the Week Award is sponsored by Zaxby's, located at 3280 Andrew Johnson Highway in Greeneville. The Zaxby's Athlete of the Week Award honors one male and one female athlete each week from an in-season sport.
