
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum men's soccer goalkeeper Noe Delmotte and women's volleyball setter Madison Adkins have been named the Zaxby's Athletes of the Week. Delmotte earns the award for the second time this season.
Adkins led the Pioneers to South Atlantic Conference victories over Emory & Henry and Coker by identical 3-0 scores last week. She averaged 11.5 assists per set in the victories, collecting 37 assists at Emory & Henry on Tuesday and 32 against Coker on Friday. Adkins also averaged 7.5 digs and 2.5 blocks in the two wins, earning her the SAC Offensive Player of the Week award.
The Olive Hill, Kentucky native ranks fourth in the SAC with 8.51 assists per set and leads the Pioneers with 21 service aces (sixth in the conference). She is also third on the team with 155 digs (2.54 per set) and second in blocks with 35 (0.57 per set).
Delmotte made five saves to earn his second shutout of the season as the Pioneers played to a 0-0 draw with Catawba on Sunday. He made four of his five stops in the second half for his second straight clean sheet at Pioneer Field.
The Bondues, France native has started five matches for the Pioneers and has compiled a 0.94 goals against average and a .773 save percentage across 477 minutes, making a total of seven saves while allowing just five goals. He ranks fifth in the South Atlantic Conference in save percentage and sixth in goals against average.
