Jacco Mensinga is a volunteer assistant coach for the Tusculum men's and women's tennis teams for the 2022-23 season after a four-year career with the Pioneers. Mensinga is a graduate assistant in the Tusculum athletic department, assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the TU athletic department including game day management, compliance and student-athlete development.
The native of Roden, The Netherlands had nine singles victories and 32 doubles wins during his four seasons at Tusculum (2018-22). Mensinga earned nine wins in doubles in both 2019 and 2020, and played doubles in all 12 South Atlantic Conference matches during his senior season, going 4-8 in league play.
Mensinga graduated magna cum laude from Tusculum in May, 2022 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Mensinga was a member of the SAC Commissioners Honor Roll and the Tusculum Athletic Director's Honor Roll, and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete and a D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient.
