WILSON, N.C. --- Tusculum's Jennifer Keim shot a one-over par 73 to take the first day lead at the 2020 Barton Intercollegiate. The Pioneers posted a team score of 318 and are in second place. The two-day, 36-hole tournament is being host by Barton College and held at the par-72, 5,887-yard Wilson Country Club.
Keim has a four-shot lead over Mount Olive's Linn Andersson (77) and five strokes better than Morgan Corner of Belmont Abbey. The Mount Olive duo of Emma Leclerq and Elise Davies round out the top-five with 79.
Mount Olive leads the tournament with 316, followed by Tusculum (318), Belmont Abbey (320), Barton (343), King (346), Belmont Abbey B (364) and Chowan (449).
Tusculum's Olivia Cunningham carded an 81 and is tied for ninth place, while teammates Yen Xuan Ong and Hannah Brown are tied for 13th place following rounds of 82 on Monday. Taylor Gransen rounds out the scoring with 86 which puts her in sole possession of 20th place.
The final round will be contested on Tuesday at the Wilson Country Club.
