    GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Dee Alford and Nicole McMillen were named the 2019-2020 Tusculum University Athletes of the Year during the athletic department’s virtual awards show Friday night. The event, which is held annually at the department’s end of the year athletic banquet, was done virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

    GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University and the South Atlantic Conference continue to assess the impact of COVID-19 in consultation with public health and medical professionals, as such the SAC Presidents Council has made the decision to cancel all spring athletics competition and practice for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year. This includes all SAC spring sports championships.

With the victory, Tusculum claimed seventh place honors and after a 0-5 start to the weekend, TU bounced back by winning six of its last eight matches.
