ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. --- Tusculum University's Nicholas Marchese fired a one-over par 73 to complete the final round of the 2020 Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is being held at the par-72, 7,136-yard St. Johns Golf & Country Club.

The Pioneers finished with a 54-hole total 945 including Tuesday's final round 310.  Marchese, who was finishing his first competitive tournament at TU, tied for 26^th place with his three-round total 228. His final round included three birdies, four bogeys and 11 pars.

Barry University won the team title by shooting a final round 296 to finish with 895, 11 strokes ahead of runner-up Lincoln Memorial (906). Flagler was third with 907, followed by Belmont Abbey (911), Queens (912), North Greenville (912), Wingate (913), Carson-Newman (913), King (915), Barton (917), Catawba (924), Coker (930), Hillsdale (934), Tampa (936), Anderson (936), Southern Wesleyan (937), Christian Brothers (938), Tusculum (945), Emmanuel (1033) and Albany State (1084).

Individually, North Greenville's Evans Lewis captured medalist honors with a two-under par total 71-71-72=214.

TU's Jeffery Perez finished tied for 51^st place with his 54-hole total 234, while Kyle Engelbert was third on the team and 68^th in the tournament field with 241. Noah Jones finished 73^rd with his 242, while Mark Healy placed 84^th with 250.

The Pioneers return to action Mar. 2-3 as they travel to Salisbury, North Carolina for the Richard Rendleman Invitational.
